The Kerala lottery was established in 1967 and is run by the Kerala State Lotteries. The lucky draw for the Kerala lottery is done at Thiruvananthapuram's Palayam, at Gorky Bhavan, near Bakery Junction. Including Kerala, there are only 13 states where these games are legal- Bengal, Goa, Punjab, Arunachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and a few more.
There are also a few rules for the games- if people win a cash prize of more than Rs 5000, then they reportedly will be required to bring their ID and documents while collecting the amount. Meanwhile, nothing as such is required for winners winning less than Rs 5000.
