10 Best PM Kisan Schemes In India: The backbone of the Indian economy is its agricultural sector. Under the PM Kisan program, the Indian government has introduced numerous beneficial programs to help them and enhance their quality of life. These initiatives seek to give farmers nationwide access to modern farming equipment, improved irrigation, insurance coverage, pension support, and financial support. Every scheme, whether it is providing small farmers with direct funding, affordable crop insurance, or assistance in growing organic crops, contributes significantly to the ease and profitability of farming. The government has also concentrated on leveraging technology in recent years to reach more farmers, cut down on middlemen, and increase transparency through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Pradhan Mantri Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana, a recently approved program in July 2025, is specifically made to enhance crop management and storage. The majority of these programs are available for farmers to apply for online or through local agriculture offices or Common Service Centres (CSCs). Small and marginal farmers, who frequently struggle financially, benefit most from these programs.
