List of Common Birth Dates:  The most common and the least common birthdays have some interesting cultural and statistical significances. September 9 is considered to be the most common birthday in the world, a day which several celebrities share, including Adam Sandler. In general, September-born birthdays dominate the list of common birthdays; however, August is considered the most common birth month due to the total births from 1994 to 2014 and because of its 31 days. Other popular birthdays in September include September 12 and September 19. This peak in September can be because conceiving often occurs during colder, winter months. Therefore, births are highest in late summer and early fall.

On the other hand, the rarest birthdays tend to occur on dates tied to particular social or cultural factors. February 29, popularly known as Leap Day, is usually the rarest birthday because it occurs only every four years. Other least common birthdays include major holidays like December 25, January 1, December 24, and July 4. That partly has to do with the fact that hospitals often avoid scheduling inductions or cesarean sections on holidays. Other late November dates, such as November 23, 25, and 27, also rank lower for many of the same reasons. Additionally, superstition makes other dates, such as the 13th, less popular for births.

Additionally, months of August, July, September and October are the most common birthday months. While February, April and December are some of the least common birthday months.
