1. SSC CHSL (Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary Level)

SSC CHSL is one of the easiest government exams for applicants who pass the 12th grade. It has three stages: Tier 1 is an objective test, Tier 2 is a descriptive test and Tier 3 is a skill/typing test. The questions are based on reasoning, math, English and general awareness. The age limit is 18 to 27 years. Selected candidates get posts like Postal Assistant, Data Entry Operator and Lower Division Clerk (LDC) paying between ₹25,500 and ₹81,100 a month to chosen candidates.

2. SSC MTS (Staff Selection Commission Multi-Tasking Staff)

For those who have completed the 10th grade, SSC MTS is an excellent choice. There are two phases to the exam: a computer-based test (CBT) and for certain positions a physical/skill test. The subjects covered in the paper are English, math, reasoning and general awareness. The age limit for this is 18 to 25 years. Selected candidates earn between ₹18,000 and ₹56,900 a month working at government offices such as Peon, Chowkidar, Gardener, etc.

RRB Group D is one of the easiest railway exams consisting of a Computer-Based Test (CBT), a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Document Verification. There are multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering science, math, reasoning and general awareness on the test. The age range is 18–33 years old. Applicants are paid between ₹18,000 and ₹56,900 per month for positions with Indian Railways such as Assistant Pointsman, Track Maintainer and Helper.

4. RRB NTPC (Railway Recruitment Board Non-Technical Popular Categories)

RRB NTPC is also the easiest railway exam, for which graduate students and those with a 12th-grade diploma are eligible. The exam includes three stages: two CBT tests, a typing test and document verification. The age limit is 18–30 years old for 12th graders and 18–33 years old for graduates. The positions offered to candidates range from ₹19,900 to ₹35,400 a month. The post includes Station Masters, Traffic Assistants, Goods Guards, and Clerks.

5. CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test)

To become a teacher at a government school, one must pass the CTET. Paper 1 (for Classes 1–5) and Paper 2 (for Classes 6–8) are the two papers. Child development, pedagogy, language, math and environmental studies are all covered in the test. Age restrictions do not apply. Depending on the school and state, successful candidates can apply for teaching positions that pay between ₹35,000 and ₹60,000 per month.

7. SBI Clerk (State Bank of India Clerk)

One of the easiest tests for employment at a government bank is the SBI Clerk. Prelims and Mains are its two stages. The questions are from the subjects of reasoning, math, and English. General knowledge, reasoning, numerical ability and computer knowledge are all present in the paper. Ages 18 to 25 are the upper limit. Selected applicants join the Delhi Police as constables, earning between ₹21,700 to ₹69,100 a month.

9. IBPS RRB (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Regional Rural Banks)

For positions in banking at Regional Rural Banks (RRBs), the IBPS RRB exam is conducted. There are two stages: preliminary and main. But for some officer posts, an additional interview is taken.
