India To Get Its First Bullet Train Soon

For the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (MAHSR) corridor, Japan has declared that it will provide India with two sets of Shinkansen bullet trains, one of the E5 series and one of the E3 series. These trains, which should arrive by early 2026, will have specialised inspection equipment to help with data collection and testing for India's first bullet train project.
