Top 10 Foreign Countries Where Indians Live: In a recent report by The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA), there are about 281 million people who have moved away from their home countries. This forms 3.5% of the total world's population. India, as of UNFPA 2023, has been declared the most populous country in the world with a population of 1.4286 billion people (i.e. 142.86 crores) with the highest number of emigrants.
Indians around the globe reside in many nations, and many of these countries are home to large migrations of Indians for employment purposes, study, or better opportunities. Many Indians have either made their businesses, are professionally involved, or have partaken economically in these countries. These countries have Indian migrants with diverse and different kinds of traditions and at the same time flourish with their adaptation to the local way of life and practices.
Let us tell you the United States is the country with the largest Indian population. In addition to the US, Indians also migrate to countries like the UAE, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and others.
