India has a seemingly low position (17th in the world with about $434.44 billion in exports (UN COMTRADE) in terms of exports, but India contributes significantly to international trade. India has varied exports but primarily: engineering goods (like machinery, automobiles), petroleum (both crude and refined) products, gems & jewellery, pharmaceuticals, both organic and inorganic chemicals, textiles & garments and agricultural products like rice & spices. These exports are to several countries around the world and contribute significantly to India's economy.
1. China
China leads global exports of almost every category of product. Its most significant exports are electronics (smartphones, computers), machinery, textiles and steel. Major Chinese brands like Xiaomi, Huawei, Lenovo, Haier, Midea and others are having a prominent international presence. 2. United States
The U.S. exports a variety of items, such as aircraft, automobiles, electronics and pharmaceuticals.
