Well, it is widely recognised that the world’s richest people are mostly tech leaders, major business figures, and investors who have earned their wealth via innovation and strategic investments. Leading the list-- Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX is the first richest person globally, followed by Jeff Bezos in second place, who is the founder of Amazon.

Ambani is India’s wealthiest person with a total net worth of $96.3 billion due to his businesses in petrochemicals, retail, and telecommunications with Reliance Industries. While Adani, whose enterprises consider ports, energy, and infrastructure, has gained notable growth in recent years. Mukesh Ambani’s Place On World’s Richest People List?
In recent years, Ambani’s wealth has dropped because Reliance’s energy and retail businesses haven’t been performing well. Mukesh Ambani’s net worth fell from $120.8 billion to $96.3 billion now in July 2024, during his younger son Anant Ambani’s grand wedding celebrations, placing him 17th on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
Where does Gautam Adani stand?
Talking about Gautam Adani, his wealth has also decreased due to ongoing controversies and accusations against him. Since January 2023, when the US firm Hindenburg Research released a report criticising him, the Adani group has been under scrutiny. This year also, US prosecutors charged Adani, his nephew Sagar Adani, and six others for allegedly bribing over $260 million to Indian government officials to secure solar energy contracts.
Although Adani denies the charges but his group is still being investigated. This caused his ranking to drop to 19th according to the Bloomberg Index as of December 17, 2024. At Present his net worth is $80.8 billion.
