6.  Make Payment:  Pay the update fee of Rs 50 using a debit/credit card or net banking options like UPI and others.

7.  Receive SRN:  You will also get a Service Request Number (SRN) to track your update status.

8.  Verification:  UIDAI will verify your request, and after approval, you will receive an SMS notification of the approved updation.

9.  Download Updated Aadhaar:  Once updated, download the new Aadhaar card from the UIDAI website.

Aadhar Card Name Update: How To Change Name In Aadhar Card Online?

1. Visit the nearby Aadhaar enrollment centre.

2. Fill Aadhar update form and carefully specify the new name.

3. Submit essential documents like a gazette notification, marriage certificate, or passport.
Authenticate your identity with biometrics.

4. Then, you will receive URN, which is an Update Request Number for tracking your request.
To update your name you need to pay the fee amount of Rs 50.
