1. SpaceShipTwo 'Unity'
Speed: 3,704 km/h (2,302 mph)
Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo Unity is the sole passenger spaceplane and flies upto Mach 3 and provides suborbital space tourism. It's launched from a carrier plane and cruises to altitudes close to 90km and gives passengers a sense of weightlessness and a glimpse of Earth's curvature.
2. Bombardier Global 8000
Speed: 1,160 km/h (721 mph)
Bombardier Global 8000 is the fastest business aircraft, which came to service in 2025. The luxury plain flies at a range of 14,000 km. It's for executives that have to travel across continents at close to the speed of sound.
3. Cessna Citation X+
Speed: 1,155 km/h (717 mph)
Cessna Citation X+ is famous for its comfort and speed. This plane is a favourite among private jet customers. Although production stopped in 2018, but its outshinning performance keeps it relevant in 2025.
4. Gulfstream G700
Speed: 1,142 km/h (709 mph)
The Gulfstream G700 is the epitome of luxury and altitude, with much of the commercial traffic and weather flying below it, it becomes a favourite among the rich people for its speed and comfort.
