Top 10 Happiest Countries In The World: World Happiness Day is celebrated annually on March 20th to highlight the value of happiness and well-being. The World Happiness Report, which rates countries according to criteria like social support, income, life expectancy, freedom, generosity and levels of corruption, is a significant highlight of this day. According to the 2025 report, Finland has been the happiest country in the world for eight years running. 

Finland's strong social structures, high levels of public trust, and emphasis on work-life balance are all factors in this country's steady ranking. Denmark is in second place, which is not surprising given its strong welfare systems and strong sense of community.

Other countries in the top ten include Iceland, Sweden, Netherlands and Norway, all known for their high quality of life and social cohesion. Wealth is not the only factor that contributes to this happiness; social and cultural aspects also play a role. These rankings serve as a reminder that cultivating a sense of community, mutual trust, and support is essential to improving the happiness and well-being of societies across the globe.

India remains in the same position as the previous year, ranking 118th out of 142 countries in the 2025 World Happiness Report, while the neighbouring country Pakistan ranks at 109th place showcasing Pakistani people are more happier than India The study rates nations according to many criteria, including GDP per capita, social support, life expectancy, freedom to choose, generosity and perceptions of corruption. India still faces difficulties in raising the general level of life satisfaction among its people, even though it has 140 million people aged 60 and over, making it the second-largest country in the world in terms of the number of elderly people.
