CCTV Footage Of Tory Lanez's Stabbing Incident: Canadian rapper Tory Lanez who is serving a 10-year sentence for shooting singer Megan Thee Stallion. The rapper was stabbed 14 times in prison last week, CCTV footage of which has been doing rounds on social media. The assailant has been identified as Santino Casio who has claimed that it was an act of self-defense. The investigation is still under process.
The viral video showcased the assailant attacking Tory Lanez who was heard screaming. In the clip, Tory walks out his cell stretches, walks past the stairs then looks over the balcony when a man rushes him, stabbing him 14 times. He falls on his back and fights back, gets out of his sweater and runs down the stairs.

In a conversation with TMZ, Tory’s legal team had said, “The recent attempt on his life was savage and ferocious, underscoring the clear and present danger he faces while incarcerated. Any claim to the contrary particularly from an individual serving a life sentence for heinous crimes is not only baseless but an absurd fabrication. His continued confinement is both a miscarriage of justice and a threat to his safety. He must be released immediately.”
Several celebrities have shown support to Tory Lanez after the stabbing incident, including Drake and Rep. Also, Anna Paulina Luna has asked CA Governor Gavin Newsom to pardon Tory for the 2020 Megan Thee Stallion shooting.
Soon after the incident, his team took to Instagram handle issued a statement, reading, "Tory was stabbed 14 times - including 7 wounds to his back, 4 to his torso, 2 to the back of his head, and 1 to the left side of his face. Both of his lungs collapsed and he was placed on a breathing apparatus. He is now breathing on his own. Despite being in pain, he is talking normally, in good spirits and deeply thankful to God that he is pulling through. He also wants to thank everyone for their continued prayers and support."
