Dune 3 Title: There is some good news for Dune fans, as the makers have finally unveiled the title of the third instalment from the hit franchise. Denis Villeneuve's upcoming return to Arrakis in the epic sci-fi series has been officially titled Dune: Part Three. Earlier reports suggested that the film might be titled Dune Messiah, inspired by Frank Herbert's 1969 book, but the final title is Dune: Part Three. There are also more updates about the Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya starrer.
Dune: Part Three will feature sequences shot with IMAX cameras. Denis Villeneuve's film will be following in the footsteps of Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, the first one to shoot this way. However, Dune: Part Three will not be entirely shot with IMAX cameras.
In an interview on CNBC, Imax CEO Richard Gelfond seemingly revealed that Dune would be filmed entirely with the company’s proprietary cameras, his comment implies this might not be entirely accurate. The clarification came as he discussed Denis Villeneuve being hired by Amazon MGM Studios to direct their reboot of the James Bond franchise.

“From a personal point of view, I was really happy. I like him. I think he’s a genius filmmaker. He’s so creative. He’s making the next ‘Dune’ — with Imax cameras, he’s filming the whole thing. So we haven’t started talking yet, but I’m praying that that’s the case with Bond, he said as quoted by Variety.

The upcoming instalment will see Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya reprising their roles. Jason Momoa will also be marking his return for Part Three after starring in the original movie.
The Dune franchise has become the most-watched sci-fi adventure movie series ever since its debut in 2021. Both Dune and Dune: Part Two bagged Best Picture Oscar nominations. Now, the fans have high expectations for Part 3.
