Emmy Awards 2025: Television's biggest event is back with another much-anticipated edition. The nominations for the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards were officially announced on Tuesday. The nominees were presented by actors Harvey Guillén and Brenda Song live. The list included a mix of expected names and first-time nominees. Severance, a dark comedy, topped the nominations with 27 total nods. It was followed by The Penguin with 24 nominations and The White Lotus and The Studio, each with 23 nominations.

Nominees in the first two categories- Reality Competition Program and Talk Series were announced on CBS Mornings shortly before 8 AM. ET/5 a.m. PT, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The remaining nominees were announced live on stream at 11:30 a.m. ET / 8:30 a.m. PT. The nominations event was hosted by Harvey Guillén, Brenda Song, and Cris Abrego. The livestream of the Emmy Awards 2025, broadcast from the Wolf Theatre at the Saban Media Center and made available for viewers on the Emmys' official website and the TV Academy's YouTube channel.

One of the standout moments from the nominations was Stephen Graham receiving his first Emmy nomination for Lead Actor for his role in Adolescence. The television series has bagged 13 nods along with The Bear and The Pitt. Andor and Hacks have earned a total of 14 nominations each.

When And Where To Watch Emmy Awards 2025?

The 77th Emmy Awards, which will be hosted by Nate Bargatze, will air live on CBS from the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, September. 14 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. The show will simultaneously stream live on Paramount+.
