The official Instagram account of the Israeli government strongly criticized model Gigi Hadid for a recent post she shared on her Instagram story regarding the Israel-Hamas conflict. Gigi Hadid faced backlash for her failure to acknowledge the distressing situation involving Jewish infants in their homes.
For the unversed, Gigi took to social media and wrote, "There is nothing Jewish about the Israeli government's treatment of Palestinians. Condemning the Israeli government is not antisemitic and supporting Palestinians is not supporting Hamas."

In response to Gigi's post, the official Instagram account representing the State of Israel decided to craft a reinterpretation of her content. In this version, they made substantial modifications to the text, intending to convey an alternative perspective. “There is nothing valiant about Hamas’ massacre of Israelis. Condemning Hamas for what it is (ISIS) is not anti-Palestine and supporting Israelis in their fight against barbaric terrorists is the right thing to do,” the text read.

The caption read, "Have you been sleeping the past week Gigi? Or are you just fine turning a blind eye to Jewish babies being butchered in their homes? Your silence has been very clear about where you stand. We see you."

Furthermore, the Israeli government supplemented their response by posting an image depicting a room drenched in blood, with scattered toys and children's clothing strewn across the floor. Alongside this haunting image, they emphasized the importance of condemning such instances, stating, “If you don’t condemn this your words mean nothing."
