Popular singer Kevin Jonas has been hitting the headlines after revealing that he was diagnosed with skin cancer on social media. Fans expressed their concern after Kevin posted the video on Instagram and wished him a speedy recovery. The singer revealed that he was hospitalized for treatment of a mole, which turned out to be skin cancer. He also urged his fans to get their moles checked.
Sharing the video, Kevin wrote, "Friendly reminder to get your moles checked."

In the video, Kevin said, "So today I am getting a basal cell carcinoma removed from my head. Yes, that is an actual little skin cancer guy that started to grow, and now I have to get surgery to remove it. Alright, I am all done. Now it's time to heal, heading home. Make sure to get those moles checked people."
Fans praised Kevin for raising awareness about skin cancer and asked him to care of himself. One netizen commented, "Thank you for being real and honest about your situation. Skin cancer is always looked at from a “cut it off and done” kinda cancer. You sharing opens doors for others to realize how important it is to check your skin! Kevin Jonas is part of a popular band named The Jonas Brothers, which also features his younger brothers Nick and Joe. He is the eldest member of the group.
