Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes Twitter Review: The sci-fi action flick directed by Wes Ball and written by Josh Friedman, serves as a sequel to 'War for the Planet of the Apes' (2017), it's the fourth installment in the reboot series and tenth overall. Owen Teague leads, with Freya Allan, Kevin Durand, Peter Macon, and William H. Macy in supporting roles. Set centuries post-'War,' it tracks a young chimp named Noa and a human named Mae on a quest shaping ape-human relations. It received acclaim for direction, action, visuals, and cast.

The movie begins with fans of the franchise joining Noa and his companions as they hunt for eagle eggs, with no humans in sight. However, upon their return to the village, they sense an ominous presence lurking in the dark forest. Noa catches sight of a girl in the woods, leaving him bewildered by the unexpected encounter. Soon after, they encounter a rogue clan of apes led by Proximus Caesar, who has twisted Caesar's teachings. The rogue clan proceeds to raze Noa's village, resulting in the death of his father and the capture of the remaining members of his clan, including his mother and friends.
