Matthew Perry, renowned for his role in the iconic series 'Friends,' was tragically discovered lifeless at his Los Angeles residence. The cause of his demise is linked to a drowning incident, a revelation that has left fans and the public in a state of profound disbelief. While the specific reason behind his unexpected passing in his jacuzzi is yet to be ascertained, investigations are ongoing, and the initial toxicology report has been ruled out. A few days after the tragic loss of the beloved 'Friends' actor on October 28, the preliminary toxicology report revealed the absence of at least two notable drugs.
As per information from law enforcement sources shared with TMZ, a preliminary, less comprehensive examination of the actor indicated the absence of fentanyl and meth in his body during the time of his demise. Currently, more thorough toxicology assessments are in progress, a process that could span several months before an official cause of death is determined.

After the actor's unexpected death, his co-stars from 'Friends', Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer shared a joint statement on his demise, expressing their grief and condolences. The statement reads, "We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family. There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss. In time we will say more, as and when we are able. For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world."

In case you're not aware, Matthew Perry sadly left us at the age of 54 on October 29, 2023. Reports suggest that he was discovered in an unresponsive state in his apartment's jacuzzi in Los Angeles, and despite the efforts of the first responders, he could not be revived.
