Met Gala 2025 theme
In 2024 Met Gala theme was Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion, while the 2023 Met Gala theme honored Karl Lagerfeld, who was a regular attendee at The Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute. The previous year-2021 and 2022 have themes based on American fashion. This year, the Met Gala is coming up with a theme that coincides with the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute's spring exhibit. Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, pays homage to the rich legacy of Black fashion and the significant role tailoring has played in shaping identity, creativity, and self-expression within the Black community. Met Gala 2025 theme is inspired by Monica L. Miller's 2009 book, Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity," Her work explores the Black men's use of style to transform identities and imagine new ways of embodying political influence of Black dandyism and social possibilities.

Indian Celebrities to Grace Met Gala 2025
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly making his highly anticipated Met Gala debut. He will be walking the red carpet in a Sabyasachi ensemble. The designer hinted at the same on his Instagram handle.
Actress Kiara Advani, who is expecting her first child with Sidharth Malhotra is also making her first appearance at the Gala night. She is expected to be wearing designer Gaurav Gupta's outfit. Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh is also going to attend the fashion night in style. Besides them, Priyanka Chopra is set to shine with her style at the Met Gala this year for the fifth time.
Diljit has reportedly been invited to dine at the exclusive inner-circle dinner hosted by Vogue's Anna Wintour. During the event, he will be sharing the table with Shakira, Nicole Scherzinger, Gayle King, and others. This Met Gala debut of the Punjabi singer is filled with special moments.

This year, La La Anthony along with singer and actor Teyana Taylor and Ego Nwodim will host the Met Gala livestream for Vogue.
