Must Watch American Spy Web Series On OTT: The recent reports of Citadel season 2 being postponed have broken the hearts of many spy series fans. But we won’t let you be upset, as we recommend some must-watch spy web series for those who are unaware and should rewatch if you have already. The Spy series can never be boring as it always brings thrill, suspense, crime, action and more along with it. So grab your popcorn and set your binge list. From Citadel Season 1 to The Night Agent, The Americans, check out these spy web series on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and JioHotstar. 

Citadel S1 (Prime Video) 

The story focuses on the global spy agency Citadel, which has fallen and its agents’ memories wiped clean. Amidst all these, a powerful syndicate named Manticore, is rising. Citadel agents recollect their past and fight back against the syndicate. The show stars Priyanka Chopra, Richard Madden, Ashleigh Cummings, Stanley Tucci and Leo Woodall in key roles. 

The Night Agent (Netflix)

The series focuses on low-level FBI agent named Peter Sutherland, who works in the basement of the White House, manning a phone that never rings.  When it does ring, it propels him into a conspiracy that leads all the way to the Oval Office. The show features Gabriel Basso, Luciane Buchanan, Brittany Snow, Arienne Mandi and Sarah Desjardins in pivotal roles. The show has two seasons. 

The Recruit (Netflix)

The series is about a CIA lawyer named Owen Hendricks, who becomes involved in massive international conflicts with dangerous parties. His life turns upside down after an asset tries to expose his relationship to the agency. The show stars Noah Centineo, Fivel Stewart, Laura Haddock, Kaylah Zander and Maddie Hasson in significant roles. The series has two seasons.

The Americans (JioHotstar)

The show follows the story of two Soviet KGB intelligence officers, who are posing as an American married couple living in Washington DC. The couple combine their spying duties secretly while raising their American-born children. The show features Keri Russell, Matthew Rhys, Holly Taylor and Keidrich Sellati in pivotal roles. The series has six seasons. 

Homeland (JioHotstar) 

The show is about a bipolar CIA operative, who becomes convinced a prisoner of war and has been turned by al-Qaeda. It also focuses on another character such as Nicholas Brody, a Marine Corps scout sniper. They are both seen as threats to the soil of their homeland. The series stars Claire Danes, Damian Lewis, Mandy Patinkin, Rupert Friend and Morgan Saylor in key roles. It has a total of 8 seasons.
