The show is based on the popular multiplayer online battle arena game 'League of Legends', which was developed and released by Riot Games in 2009. 'Arcane' is produced by the French animation studio Fortiche in partnership with Riot Games and co-creators Christian Linke and Alex Yee.
'Arcane' is one of the highest rated series streaming on Netflix. It also became the first streaming series to win a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program.
Hailee Steinfeld is cast as Violet aka Vi, whereas, Ella Purnell has lent her voice to Powder aka Jinx. The series also stars Kevin Alejandro, Katie Leung, Jason Spisak, Toks Olagundoye, Harry Lloyd, JB Blanc, Reed Shannon and Mick Wingert.
