Prime Video's popular web series 'The Boys' is officially back with its fourth season and has been receiving a lot of love and praise from the audience worldwide. The show is set in a world where superpowered individuals are recognized as heroes by the public but the reality is different from what is shown to people as these heroes are corrupt and selfish. The makers have officially announced that 'The Boys' will return with its fifth and final season but not much has been revealed about its plot. According to the latest reports, Paul Reiser will return in the fifth season as The Legend.
While speaking to ComicBook.com, Paul Reiser revealed, "Yeah, there's been talks about that. I think there is something they're writing for me. That was so fun -- it's not my kind of show, and famously, I told my son, who's now writing these Marvel Aliens comics...but when I got offered the role on The Boys, I had not only not seen it, I hadn't heard of it, and I said, 'Hey, do you know about this show The Boys? They want me to be on it. What do you know about it?'"
He added, "He says, 'Oh, it's great, and you'll hate it.' I went, 'Why would I hate it?' He goes, 'Oh, just watch.' And I remember watching it and going, 'Oh, wow, this is way over the top.' But in short order, I saw, they're not just stretching it for the sake of it -- that's the point of it; it's so over-the-top and graphic and funny and smart. And the role was very funny. I was like, 'What's the guy called?' And it's like, 'The Legend,' and I went, 'sold.'"
'The Boys Season 4' stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, and Cameron Crovetti, and welcoming Susan Heyward, Valorie Curry, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
