The Fantastic Four: First Steps by Marvel Studios had its screening the day before yesterday, which raised curiosity among fans. The internet is in a dilemma regarding the reason for this screening, as there are split responses. Some believe that it is a strategy, while others suggest that the directorial team is unsure about this project after witnessing a lukewarm response to their last movie, Thunderbolt, and wants to know whether this film will connect with people or not. Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Joseph Quinn will be leading the way in this movie.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ leaked scene shows Sue Storm reading something to her son. She gets up and returns only to find Doctor Doom sitting with a mask next to her son Franklin. This has created a mysterious buzz among the fanbase online. Further in the scene, Doctor Doom is seen sitting with a hood that gives a comic-like look, without showing his face. Based on the leaked details, it can be assumed that the Marvel family will achieve victory in saving their reality from Galactus.

The official synopsis of the MCU movie read, “Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps introduces Marvel’s First Family — Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they face their most daunting challenge yet. Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.”

After the release of the trailer, fans had divided opinions. Some praised the visuals, which gave a heavy sci-fi appeal to the movie and loved the character developments along with the presentation of strong family bonds. On the other hand, some viewers seemed to be disappointed with ‘Thing’s’ voice in the trailer. The film is directed by Matt Shakman and will be globally released on May 25, 2025. What really happens next is left in suspense for the audience.
