The Last Of Season 2 Finale: The Last of Us season 2 has been a commercial success. Here is a breakdown of everything that occurs and how it sets up Abby's story in the third season. The story of the original game was fully covered in the first season of The Last of Us, however just a portion of the tale of The Last of Us Part II was covered in season two. Based on the games, the second season had a definite conclusion since it concentrated on Ellie's journey's beginning and her three days in Seattle.
The Last of Us season 2 episode 7 continues where episode 5 left off, with episode 6 cutting off the main plot to reveal Joel and Ellie's flashbacks. After killing Nora, Ellie returns to the theater and rallies with Dina and Jesse before determining their course of action. She decides to go find Tommy with Jesse. Jesse and Ellie part ways while travelling after Ellie learns where Abby might be. The finale episode of The Last of Us season 2 leads to tragic ending!

SPOILER ALERT!
The Washington Liberation Front's leader, Isaac Dixon, leads his soldiers to the island of the Seraphites/Scars, where they take the conflict to the next level (Abby is M.I.A.). Ellie ends herself there as well, and as her boat overturns, she is taken prisoner by the Scars, as per gamefragger.
A distant explosion diverts their attention just as they are ready to hang and gut her (while Isaac apparently delivers hell on the barbaric bunch of survivors). After that somewhat fruitless detour, Ellie returns to the mainland and confronts Mel and Owen.
She is horrified to learn that Mel was pregnant and unintentionally kills the two of them. She appears to have lost her need for vengeance, but when she and Tommy, Jesse, and Dina are reunited, there is a disturbance and Jesse is shot and murdered.
It's Abby, who is holding a pistol to Joel's brother and is there to exact revenge on her buddies. Since she is the one Abby desires, Ellie begs her to leave him alone. The screen goes black as a gunshot echoes, and Abby, perplexed that Ellie would pursue her after she let her live, points her rifle at Ellie.
The Last of Us's third season will follow the same few days as the current one, but from Abby's perspective. alongside that, we're taken to the WLF base alongside Abby. It's Seattle "Day One" once more.
When And Where To Watch TLOU 2 Finale?
The Last of Us Season 2 finale will broadcast on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at 9 PM ET/PT. The streaming service, Max and TV channel HBO will broadcast it simultaneously for US based citizens.
The Last of Us Season 2 finale will air in several time zones outside of the United States. It airs on Crave at 9 PM in Canada. The episode airs in Brazil at 10:00 PM It streams Monday at 2 AM for Portugal and Western Europe. Sky Atlantic will also release the UK version at two in the morning. It is available for viewing at 3 AM in Spain and Central Europe and 4 AM in Eastern Europe, including Bulgaria. Australia's Binge service broadcasts it at 11 AM, while India does so at 6:30 AM. Sky SoHo in New Zealand will release.

Better Call Saul's Tony Dalton played Joel and Tommy's father, Javier Miller, in the first flashback. Joel stood between his younger brother and his father's violent outburst, and he was rewarded for his courage with a thoughtful discussion. Javier added that he hoped Joel would provide better care for his own kids than he did for his own.
Ellie confronted Joel following the New Year's Eve party in the last flashback, demanding to know the truth about what transpired with the Fireflies. Joel acknowledged that he put them all to death rather than allow Ellie to be put to death in the interest of discovering a cure. Ellie told Joel that she wanted to try to forgive him, but she was upset since she thought that was something worth dying for. Joel said that he hoped Ellie would do better with her kids.
The Last of Us Season 2 Finale LEAK?
A few scenes from the last episode were leaked prior to its official broadcast. The clips began to surface on Thursday evening. The final sequence of Episode 7 was among the leaked content. According to reports, certain customers who purchased the season on Apple momentarily had first dibs. Even after the problem was resolved, some fans had already shared videos to Twitter and TikTok.
