Hollywood actress Catherine Zeta-Jones has long been a fan of Bollywood. Her latest watchlist, featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s 2007 film Om Shanti Om has taken internet by storm. Earlier, she revealed that it's one of her favourite Hindi movies. Catherine Zeta-Jones, who was recently seen in Wednesday Season 2, shared a glimpse of watching Om Shanti Om while waiting in her car at the US Open. Her Instagram post has since gone viral on social media and here's how fans are reacting to it.

In her Instagram story, Catherine Zeta-Jones shared a screenshot of the song Dhoom Ta Na from Om Shanti Om. Sharing the post, she wrote, "Waiting for Trump to take his seat at the US Open. Enjoying Om Shanti Om while we wait and wait in the car." Soon her post was widely spread online.

This is not the first time Catherine Zeta-Jones has shown her admiration for Bollywood films.

In 2023, during the International Film Festival of India in Goa, the actress said, "I have always been a big fan of Bollywood. Being a singer and a dancer, I dreamed that maybe the British film industry would do a Bollywood type film and I would be able to cast in it. I love the country and the people so very much. My children grew up watching Om Shanti Om. When my kids were very small, we showed them the movie, which is one of my favorite movies."

Besides Om Shanti Om, Nimrat Kaur and late actor Irrfan Khan's 2013 starrer, The Lunchbox, is also her favourite. She stated, "I came across it during a long international flight. They had the international section, and I watched it twice, back to back. I called my agent saying I saw this wonderful movie, it touched me so much. And then I got the chance to meet Mr Ritesh Batra, the director. I'm still waiting for him to write me Lunch Box 2, I’ll wait, it's fine. I was definitely touched by the first part, it was such a quintessential Indian movie. It just touched me as a European woman so much."

Caterine Zeta-Jones, known for her performances in No Reservations and The Mask of Zorro, was last seen in Wednesday season 2 as Morticia Addams, Wednesday’s mother, in the supernatural mystery series.
