F1 Trailer: The much-anticipated sports action drama movie starring Brad Pitt is set to bring high-octane action to the big screen soon. Directed by Top Gun Maverick filmmaker Joseph Kosinski, the upcoming movie has been creating a buzz since its announcement. Adding to the excitement, the makers unveiled the thrilling trailer, which takes viewers into the world of Formula One racing.
Brad Pitt Starrer F1 Trailer Unveiled
The trailer shows Brad Pitt's character, Sonny Hayes, a former Formula 1 driver who is making his return to racing tracks. Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem), his old teammate, convinces him to return and coach the team's young driver, Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris), in a desperate bid to save the franchise. The clip shows the interaction of Pitt with Kate (Kerry Condon). She is heard saying, “Why are you here? When you look in the mirror, you see this rough and tough and tumble old school cowboy. Doesn’t take orders. Goes his own way. A lone wolf. Well, I have news for you. Formula 1 is a team sport. It always was."
She warns him by saying, “Let’s get this straight: We all lose our jobs if you can’t pull off a miracle." To this, Sonny replies, “No pressure." The trailer then shows a tense exchange between Damson Idris plays Joshua, a rising talent.
He says, “I think it’s really wonderful that Apex has given second chances to the elderly. You are making a mistake thinking I am going to be some grateful kid who will bend a knee to an oldtimer.” The film unfolds how Sonny Hayes navigates the challenges of mentoring Joshua Pearce. The trailer also features special appearances by reigning F1 champion Max Verstappen and former Red Bull Racing driver Sergio Pérez.

The action-packed sports drama has been produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Joseph Kosinski, Lewis Hamilton, Brad Pitt, Jeremy Kleiner, Dede Gardner and Chad Oman. Besides Brad Pitt and Joshua Pearce, the film also stars Lewis Hamilton, George Russell, Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz Jr, Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri, Fernando Alonso, Lance Stroll, Pierre Gasly, Nyck De Vries, Valtteri Bottas, Zhou Guanyu, Nico Hülkenberg, Kevin Magnussen, Daniel Ricciardo, among many others. Ahead of the release, which is slated to hit theatres in the US on June 27, 2025 and on June 25 worldwide, the trailer has sparked excitement among fans.
