Popular renowned singer Kanye West is under controversy yet again. This time his former assistant Lauren Pisciotta accused him of drugging and raping her. She alleged that the horrific incident took place at the party of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who was earlier arrested for sex trafficking conspiracy. Pisciotta filed an 88-page lawsuit on October 11, 2024, about the crime against the rapper. For the unversed, she worked as an assistant for Kanye West in 2021 and 2022. A report by DailyMail suggests that Lauren claimed that the crime happened years earlier on an unspecified date.
She said in the lawsuit that she was invited to a gathering at a Santa Monica recording studio co-hosted by Diddy. This was also hosted by a female music artist with whom she was collaborating. The report further said that the guests at the party ‘had to drink’ beverages that were served to them. It was done by the direction of West. The suit does not accuse Diddy for anything.
Pisciotta alleged that Kanye West ‘drugged and raped’ her. She recalled her feeling of ‘an altered and highly impaired state’ after consuming a drink. She woke up the next day feeling ‘physically ill and confused.’ In the suit, she mentioned that the accompanying music artist ‘could not bring herself to speak about what she herself endured.’
This lawsuit follows the previous one which Pisciotta filed against Kanye West in June this year for her wrongful termination and instances of sexual assault. In the lawsuit, Pisciotta also alleged that when she was working with West, he said that an unnamed woman implied to be his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. The woman also made a negative comment that West and Pisciotta had been intimate.
The lawsuit claims that Lauren “could not stomach the fact that she worked for the man who had sexually assaulted her against her will while she was drugged, who then successfully lured her back into his orbit by way of a job opportunity to sexually assault her all over again.” It further alleged that the American rapper left her with anxiety and PTSD.
