A shocking incident at a McDonald’s outlet in Saginaw, Michigan, has gone viral after a furious customer hurled a cup of steaming hot coffee at the restaurant’s manager, allegedly over a delayed online order. Surveillance footage from Tuesday morning captured the woman shouting profanities before flipping open the lid and launching the scalding drink at the employee’s back.
The outburst occurred at the McDonald’s located on 3700 Dixie Highway in Buena Vista Township. According to police, the confrontation began when 48-year-old Casharra Brown demanded a refund, claiming she had waited more than an hour for her order. In the video, Brown can be heard yelling, “F*** you, catch that hot-a** coffee,” moments before throwing the beverage.

The footage shows the manager calmly trying to explain that the requested refund would take up to 48 hours to process and that Brown had already received the coffee she paid for. When the manager briefly turned her back, the suspect suddenly snapped, verbally abusing her before launching the coffee. The victim suffered minor burns, Buena Vista Township Police confirmed

Suspect Identified Through Social Media
Detective Russ Pahssen said the department shared the video on Facebook to help identify the suspect. The post quickly gained traction, and within minutes, local residents flooded the police with tips.
“We got about 100 calls,” Pahssen told MLive, adding that officers were able to confirm Brown’s identity almost immediately thanks to the rapid online response.
Authorities have since issued a warrant for Brown on charges that could include assault and battery. Police are urging her to surrender voluntarily.
The Buena Vista Police Department noted that verbal disputes are not uncommon at fast-food establishments, but physical attacks, especially involving hot liquids, can cause serious injury and will be prosecuted aggressively.
