In an emotional moment that has fueled intense online debate, US President Donald Trump publicly acknowledged Erika Kirk during an Oval Office press event, calling her forward and kissing her on the cheek. The viral gesture comes just weeks after Erika’s widely discussed embrace with Vice President JD Vance during a campus tour event.
Trump recognised Erika Kirk during an Oval Office appearance on Monday, inviting her to the front and placing a kiss on her cheek. The gesture occurred roughly two months after her husband, 31-year-old Charlie Kirk, was shot and killed while attending a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, on September 10.
The political shockwaves were immediate, igniting renewed discussions on free speech, campus security, and ideological violence. Following Charlie’s assassination, Republican lawmakers began pushing to memorialise the 31-year-old’s legacy, and his funeral, broadcast nationally, drew major GOP figures including Trump and Vance.
The Predator-in-Chief summons Erika Kirk for a totally random kiss. She’s got zero connection to the ambassador’s swearing-in. Just conveniently there for his daily creep fix. Peak sleaze energy.

“She’s got zero connection to the ambassador’s swearing-in.” Ah, but she’s snuggly with JD who happens to be married to a woman from India.

Erika’s New Role And Emotional Tribute
Since the tragedy, Erika Kirk, 36, has stepped into her husband’s shoes as CEO of Turning Point USA. At the Oval Office, she delivered heartfelt remarks, “The way that I was able to witness the two of you work together for years and champion and support the president was humbling,” she said, addressing Trump and Vance. She added that Charlie “is going to be with you every single day in spirit.”
Erika also recalled Charlie’s friendship with Gor, emphasising that her husband would have celebrated his rise to political prominence.
In multiple interviews, Erika has highlighted her growing relationship with Vice President JD Vance, 41, and Second Lady Usha Vance, 39, calling their support a “blessing.” She said the second family has shown her “genuine love” during her grieving process. The vice president, she noted, shared a personal friendship with Charlie long before his death.
