US Vice President JD Vance has responded sharply to unfounded claims made by MSNBC host and former White House press secretary Jen Psaki about his marriage. During a recent episode of the “I’ve Had It” podcast, Psaki suggested without evidence that Vance and his wife, Usha Vance, were facing marital troubles.
In the episode titled “Devil Wears Maga,” Psaki made a series of comments mocking the Vance family. “I always wonder what’s going on in the mind of his wife. Like, are you OK? Please blink four times. Come over here, we’ll save you,” Psaki quipped, suggesting that Usha Vance might be “scared” of her husband.
The podcast’s description on YouTube and Spotify included a similar line: “Usha Vance, please blink twice if you need help.” Psaki also described JD Vance as “the little Manchurian candidate,” claiming that he “wants to be president more than anything else” and would “do anything to get there.”
JD Vance Responds With Dignity
When asked about Psaki’s comments, Vice President JD Vance defended his wife and their marriage, calling the remarks “disgraceful.” “I think it’s disgraceful,” Vance said. “But of course, the second lady can speak for herself.”

He added, “I am very lucky to have a wonderful wife, and I know, at least I hope, that my wife feels the same about me. I’m honoured to have Usha by my side.”
Vance’s calm yet firm response was seen as a reflection of his intent to rise above political mockery and defend his family’s privacy.
White House Communications Director Joins Fray
Steven Cheung, the White House Director of Communications and a close aide to the President, also took aim at Psaki on social media. In a fiery post on X, he wrote, “Jen Psaki must be transferring her own personal issues onto others.”
Jen Psuki must be transferring her own personal issues onto others. @jrpsaki is a dumbass who has no comprehension of the truth and has to overcompensate for her lack of talent by saying untrue things.

Circle back on that, moron. https://t.co/ehoV2L0ZZU
In a follow-up post, where he misspelt her name, Cheung added, “@jrpsaki is a dumba** who has no comprehension of the truth and has to overcompensate for her lack of talent by saying untrue things. Circle back on that, moron.”
