Days after his victory in the US presidential elections, Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, has seen an upgrade to its security with the addition of a robotic dog. The robotic dog was observed patrolling the estate on November 8, enhancing the estate’s security with a high-tech, futuristic touch.

According to The New York Post, videos show the robotic dog, created by Boston Dynamics, patrolling the grounds of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate. The mechanical canine is seen walking through the grassy areas and palm trees surrounding the property, with a warning label on its side that reads, ‘DO NOT PET’.

The US Secret Service has confirmed the use of robotic dogs to enhance security at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate. According to The Hill, Anthony Guglielmi, the chief communications officer for the Secret Service, stated that these robotic dogs are equipped with advanced technology to assist in meeting the agency’s security objectives.

A video that recently surfaced on social media has unveiled the advanced security measures in place to protect the incoming president. The footage shows robotic dogs patrolling the estate, equipped with light machine guns, GPS systems, scanning detectors, and various sensors. These high-tech devices are seen alongside armoured vehicles and patrol boats, highlighting the extensive security setup at the property.

Mar-a-Lago Boosts Security 

These robots are likely part of the Q-UGV (Quadrupedal Unmanned Ground Vehicle) program, designed to enhance US military operations. The Q-UGV offers exceptional mobility over various terrains, mimicking the movements of a quadruped animal to improve performance in diverse environments and battle conditions.

Earlier on Friday, three individuals were charged in connection with a foiled assassination attempt on President-elect Donald Trump, which was reportedly linked to Iran.
