The legendary WWE wrestler has died at the age of 71 on Thursday in Florida owing to a cardiac arrest. Medical professionals reached Hogan's home in Florida during the wee hours of Thursday morning, where the operators revealed that an emergency call was made about a 'cardiac arrest', as per TMZ Sports.
There were a lot of police cars and EMTS, which were gathered outside Hogan's home and the WWE star was seen being carried on a stretcher towards an ambulance.
The WWE took to its official X account and expressed their grief about Hogan's death. "WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away. One of pop culture’s most recognizable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s. WWE extends its condolences to Hogan’s family, friends, and fans," it had written on its official X account.
Hulk Hogan underwent a huge heart operation earlier this year as per US Weekly.
The news of his death came a few weeks after Sky, who is Hogan's wife had dismissed claims of him being in a coma. She had reckoned that Hogan's heart was strong after his recovery from the surgeries.
