US Presidential Election: As the 2024 presidential election is just around the corner, Kamala Harris and Donald Trump have secured notable endorsements from influential figures across various fields. Kamala Harris' endorsements include a diverse range of supporters from the entertainment, sports, and music industries, as well as from within the political sphere.

With the voting for the 2024 US Presidential Election set to take place on November 5, Harris has earned widespread support from the sports community, with influential figures in the industry throwing their weight behind her candidacy. Notable endorsements have come from NBA legends Steve Kerr and Steph Curry, with Curry explicitly stating that Harris is the "easy choice" for president.

Stephen Curry

At the Golden State Warriors' media day, Stephen Curry expressed his enthusiastic support for Kamala Harris. Curry's endorsement holds special significance, given the shared connection between Harris and the Warriors' hometown of Oakland, California – where Harris was born and Curry's illustrious NBA career has unfolded.

“Supporting her is an honor. She’s a sophisticated leader who I believe can guide our country and offer hope, inspiration, and unity," said Curry.

LeBron James

The Los Angeles Lakers star, LeBron James, one of the country’s biggest celebrities also endorsed Harris for President.

"What are we even talking about here?? When I think about my kids and my family and how they will grow up, the choice is clear to me. VOTE KAMALA HARRIS," James said on social media.

Ilona Maher

While showing her backing for Harris, the Olympic rugby star Ilona Maher in an interview with Sports Illustrated said, "I think it’s going to be cool because there is an opportunity to have female representation and to change this country in a way that I think will benefit us."

“That’s a Kamala Harris endorsement,” Maher told the magazine.

Steve Kerr

Steve Kerr, head coach of the Golden State Warriors and former player for the Chicago Bulls, formally endorsed Harris for United States president. 

“After the votes are tallied (on Nov. 5), in the words of the great Steph Curry, we can tell Donald Trump ... night night!" Kerr said at the Democratic National Convention as quoted by USA Today.

15 NFL Hall of Famers 

Harris received a major boost to her presidential campaign with the endorsement of 15 NFL Hall of Famers, led by the legendary Emmitt Smith. This impressive show of support includes other iconic players like Calvin Johnson, known as "Megatron" during his time with the Detroit Lions, and Alan Page, one of only two defensive players to win the MVP award.
