Google Pixel Watch 2, one of the highly anticipated smartwatches, is officially unveiled at the Made By Google 2023 event. The all-new Google Pixel Watch 2 is the successor to the Google Pixel Watch, which was released in select markets last year. Google Pixel Watch 2 receives a number of new features, similar to the Pixel 8 series, which may entice new buyers who previously favoured Samsung watches.

The company has announced that it has upgraded its design inside out with an aluminium frame and glasswork. The company has also introduced more comfortable straps and announced new watch faces. Under the hood, a new Quad Core chipset powers the Pixel Watch 2.

It runs on WearOS 4 which now gets Gmail and Calendar along with improved Maps, Google Assistant and third-party applications like WhatsApp. It also gets safety and medical information features along with emergency features. The company has also announced a new safety check feature which has a timer (which, if not stopped, will share location to your loved ones). It also gets enhanced AI features for Fitbit.

Along with enhanced software, it also receives an upgraded Fitbit with new AI algorithms and three new software. The company also says that new coaching features, skin temperature sensors, a new continuous electrodermal activity sensor for body response that reveals tension, and discomfort, and analytics provide 40% more accurate tracking.

Speaking of the battery backup, the Pixel Watch offers up to 24 hours of battery on a single charge with Always on Display.

Google Pixel Watch 2 Price:

The Google Pixel Watch 2 will be available in two variants- Wi-Fi and LTE variants. It can be pre-ordered today. The starting price is $349 and will be shipped next week. It will be offered with 6-month Fitbit premium.
