“My buddy behind me told me to look up in the sky and I just saw the cell tower crumbling down, they said a helicopter hit it,” CNN reported Arciniega, a bystander, as saying.
During a press conference, J Noe Diaz, the chief of police of Houston, reported that four individuals were on board the helicopter when it either collided with a cable from the tower or hit the tower itself. He confirmed that there were no casualties reported on the ground. At this time, it remains uncertain whether all four occupants of the private helicopter have perished, and officials have stated they are unaware of the child's age, as per the NYT.
