US Plane Crash:A person was killed and four others injured after two private jets collided at Scottsdale Airport in USA’s Arizona on Saturday. The incident occurred at 2:45 pm after a Learjet 35A veered off the runway after landing and crashed into a parked Gulfstream 200 business jet. The impact resulted in significant damage, and emergency services were immediately deployed to the scene. Flights at the airport have been temporarily halted.
Kelli Kuester, the airport's aviation planning and outreach coordinator, stated that the jet’s primary landing gear seemingly failed upon arrival, resulting in the crash. Emergency crews responded swiftly, transporting two injured individuals to trauma centres while another remained in stable condition at a local hospital, reported Financial Express.
Scottsdale Fire Department spokesman Dave Folio confirmed that one person remains trapped in the wreckage as rescue teams work to extricate them. Three of the injured have been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

An investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has been launched and further investigation is underway.
Scottsdale Airport is a key hub for private jets, especially during major events like the Waste Management Phoenix Open golf tournament, which is currently drawing large crowds nearby.
This incident marks the fourth plane crash in the US within the past 10 days. Authorities are investigating all recent aviation accidents to determine the causes and prevent future occurrences.
