Marvel just dropped an exciting trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine, featuring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman back in action. As the movie welcomes Deadpool into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it also introduces a new villain, Cassandra Nova, played by Emma Corrin from The Crown. Who Is Cassandra Nova?
Cassandra Nova is recognized as one of the most powerful and menacing adversaries in the X-Men universe, ranking up there with other notable villains like Apocalypse and Mister Sinister. She has a particularly sinister background as the evil twin sister of Professor Charles Xavier, who is a central figure in the X-Men saga. In the Marvel comics, an extraordinary and dark event occurs between Charles Xavier and his twin sister Cassandra Nova while they are still in the womb. Charles senses Cassandra's malevolent nature and, in a dramatic moment, causes her demise, leading to her being stillborn. However, this is not the end of Cassandra; over the years, she manages to create a new body for herself, driven by a desire for vengeance against her brother Charles.
As for her role in the new Deadpool & Wolverine movie, it remains a bit of a mystery. Who Is Playing The Role Of Cassandra Nova?
Emma Corrin, a British actress, has taken on the role of the formidable Cassandra Nova in the upcoming film. In the trailer, viewers can catch a glimpse of Emma in a striking portrayal, where she appears completely bald. One particularly memorable scene from the trailer shows her character dramatically levitating out of what appears to be a huge mouth, resembling that of Ant-Man.
