The Lucknow Development Authority’s (LDA) Anant Nagar scheme on Mohan Road is set to become a benchmark for environmental protection, with 130 acres of its total 785-acre area earmarked for parks and greenery.

The layout includes two to three parks in each of the eight sectors, amounting to over 25 parks in total. Several parks will feature swings for children and open gyms for adults, while ponds and other water bodies will also be developed.

Launched in phases, the scheme’s second phase began during Sawan, with registrations opened for 332 plots in its Adarsh section. The project is planned to house around 1.5 lakh people and is being developed on a grid pattern in line with international standards. Features include wide roads, underground power cables for uninterrupted supply, and a dedicated 100-acre Edutech City.

The township will also host a large solar power plant and aims to be a green, environmentally friendly zone. To improve connectivity, the narrow 7–10 metre road linking the scheme to Kisan Path will be widened to 24 metres to ensure smooth traffic flow once the population moves in.
