Arun Yogiraj, the sculptor behind the Ram Lalla idol for Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir, has crafted a miniature version of the deity in Ayodhya. The miniature garnered widespread adoration from devotees in social media. The artist shared images of the small idol on his X account, where they quickly went viral.

"After the selection of the main idol of Ram Lalla, I carved another small Ram Lalla statue in stone in Ayodhya," Yogiraj said on X while sharing the images of the idol.

Earlier, Arun Yogiraj revealed the special tools used for the idol’s creation, including a silver hammer and a golden chisel for the statue’s eyes. The 51-inch-tall idol, depicting a five-year-old Ram Lalla standing on a lotus, was carved from Krishna Shila (black schist) stone sourced from Karnataka.

Coming from a family with a rich sculpting heritage, Yogiraj has been creating statues since 2008, gaining national acclaim. His notable works include the 30-foot statue of Subhash Chandra Bose at India Gate and statues of Adi Shankaracharya and Hanuman, which have received significant media attention.

Following the placement of the idol in the Ram Janmabhoomi temple’s sanctum sanctorum, Yogiraj expressed feeling like the ''luckiest person'' on earth, attributing his success to the blessings of his ancestors, family and Lord Ram.
