Bahraich Violence: Four days after the death of Ram Gopal Mishra in a violent scuffle which broke out during a Durga Pooja procession in Uttar Pradesh's Bahraich, a video of his wife, Roli Mishra, levelling serious allegations on police and administration, is doing rounds on the internet. In the viral video, Roli alleged that despite it being four days, the administration has not delivered justice to his husband.
Demanding the encounter of the murder-accused individuals, Mishra said that police have only injured, not killed them.
"Police administration is not doing justice. The police administration is not supporting us," Roli Mishra could be seen alleging in the video.
Meanwhile, two murder accused were injured in the police encounter. One of them has been identified as Sarfaraz, reported Dainik Jagran. Apart from the duo, which sustained bullet injuries in the encounter, three more accused have been arrested by Bahraich police.
Police have recovered a double-barreled gun and a pistol used in the murder from the possession of the accused. While 58 people have been arrested in connection to the Bahraich violence, the local administration also came under fire - with Tehsildar Ravikant Dwivedi removed from the sub-division for negligence in the incident.
