Banke Bihari Temple Darshan Live Stream: Major new rules have been announced for the world-famous Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan, Mathura, following a high-powered committee meeting on September 11, 2025. In a landmark decision aimed at improving crowd management, the temple has completely banned all VIP darshan (special entry). The sweeping changes also include extended darshan timings, stricter security protocols, and a plan to begin live-streaming services for devotees across the globe.

District Magistrate CP Singh shared the details of the new arrangements that will be implemented at the temple.

Major Focus On Security And Crowd Management

To ensure the safety and smooth movement of pilgrims, the following rules have been set:

- No More VIP Entry: All forms of special or VIP entry are now stopped.

- Separate Entry And Exit: Gates will be strictly designated for either entry or exit to prevent chaos. The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) has been directed to implement this within three days.

- Fixed Duty for Guards: All police and private security guards must remain at their assigned posts. Legal action will be taken against any guard found wandering from their duty spot.

- New Security Agency: The current private security company will be replaced by a more reputable agency, possibly one that employs retired soldiers.

Darshan Timings Extended, Live Streaming To Begin

For the convenience of devotees, the temple's darshan (viewing) hours have been increased.

New Summer Timings:

  • Morning: 7:15 am to 12:30 pm
  • Evening: 4:15 pm to 9:30 pm

New Winter Timings:

  • Morning: 8:15 am to 1:30 pm
  • Evening: 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Additionally, the committee has agreed to start a live stream of the darshan for devotees worldwide.

Temple To Undergo Structural And Financial Audits

To ensure transparency and safety, several audits have been ordered:

- Structural Audit: The temple building and premises will be inspected by experts from IIT Roorkee, a top engineering institute, to check its structural strength.

- Asset Inventory: A complete list of all the temple's movable and immovable properties must be prepared and submitted to the committee within 15 days.

- Special Financial Audit: A special audit of the temple's finances from the period of 2013 to 2016 will be conducted.

Locked Room Near Sanctum Sanctorum To Be Opened

The committee has also decided to open a mysterious locked room located next to the temple's Garbhagriha (main shrine). A special committeeincluding an auditor, a civil judge, and administrative officialshas been formed to oversee this. The entire process of opening the room will be video-recorded, and a detailed list of everything found inside will be made and submitted to the management.
