A head-on collision occurred between a roadways bus and a container truck on the Bangarmau-Lucknow route on Thursday morning due to dense fog. Five people, including the bus conductor, were injured in the accident. All the injured individuals were initially taken to the Community Health Center (CHC) in Bangarmau, from where they were referred to the District Hospital for further treatment.

The Incident

The roadways bus was being driven by Shivkumar, a resident of Ishanpur in the Arniya area of Bulandshahr district, while Shailesh Yadav, a resident of Agra Road in Mainpuri district, was the conductor. They were transporting passengers from Delhi to Lucknow. The accident took place around 9:00 am near Mustafabad village when the bus collided with a container truck coming from the Lucknow direction amidst low visibility caused by the fog.

Impact Of Accident

The impact of the crash damaged the left sides of both vehicles. The injured have been identified as bus conductor Shailesh Yadav and passengers Prakash, Sunil and his wife Renu (all residents of Nainsukh kheda, Fatehpur Chaurasi), as well as Umesh (a resident of Rasulabad, Asivan). Other passengers sustained minor injuries. Police arrived at the scene and removed the damaged vehicles to clear the road. Kotwal Akhilesh Chandra Pandey confirmed that the injured have been admitted to the District Hospital.
