The Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) has initiated the process of determining toll rates for the under-construction Ganga Expressway. As part of this process, UPEIDA has begun the selection of a consulting firm to assist in calculating the toll charges.
The 594-kilometre-long expressway, currently under construction, will connect key districts including Meerut, Amroha, Sambhal, Badaun, Hapur, Hardoi, Unnao, Bulandshahr, Shahjahanpur, Pratapgarh, Rae Bareli, and Prayagraj.

Toll rates will be calculated on a per-kilometre basis, following the UP Toll Rules, and adjusted according to the Wholesale Price Index for the financial year 2025–26.
Currently, the proposed rates are Rs 2.55 per km for cars, jeeps, vans, and light vehicles; Rs 4.05 for light commercial vehicles and mini-buses; Rs 8.15 for buses and trucks; Rs 12.55 for heavy construction vehicles; and Rs 16.05 per km for oversized vehicles.
Toll charges for bypass usage are set at Rs 0.70, Rs 1.05, Rs 2.10, Rs 3.15, and Rs 4.15 per km, respectively, for different vehicle categories. The construction of the Ganga Expressway is targeted for completion by November.
