Two women lost their lives following the collapse of a pipe factory wall near the UP Gyani Border in the Ghaziabad district. Additionally, two other women sustained injuries in the incident. The injured have been identified as 45-year-old Sajjo and 50-year-old Salma. Salma has been referred to GTB Hospital for further treatment.
According to preliminary investigations, the accident occurred around 2:00 pm during the lunch break. Reports indicate that the wall collapsed due to ongoing pipe loading operations in an adjacent factory. All four women were employed to clean bricks at the site. They were caught under the debris when the wall of the neighboring factory fell on them. Two of the victims, identified as Jamila and Ishrat, died on the spot.
