Hindon Airport News: Major flights to Goa, Bengaluru and Kolkata commenced from Hindon Airport’s Civil Terminal today, March 1. The first flight to Goa took off from Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Saturday. Union Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu inaugurated the Goa flight at the Hindon Civil Terminal Airport. A total of 70 passengers, including Ghaziabad MP Atul Garg, MLA Ajit Pal Tyagi, and Sanjeev Sharma, were aboard the inaugural flight.

According to officials, Hindon Terminal will act as a connecting hub for flights between Kolkata and Goa, while direct flight services will be available to Bengaluru. Hindon Civil Terminal Director Umesh Yadav stated that Air India Express will operate daily flights on all these routes, enhancing connectivity for passengers.

Hindon Airport Flight Schedule

The flight schedule from Hindon has also been released, making it easier for passengers to plan their travel. A two-hour morning flight will depart from Kolkata to Hindon, arriving at 9:30 am. The aircraft will then depart for Goa at 10:30 am, landing there at 1:15 pm. The return flight from Goa will depart at 2:00 pm and reach Hindon at 4:40 pm, followed by a departure for Kolkata at 5:20 pm. Additionally, the Bengaluru route will begin on March 2, with a direct flight departing Bengaluru at 12:40 pm and arriving at Hindon Terminal at 3:15 pm.

According to reports, these flights will have a capacity to accommodate over 180 passengers. Booking has already begun for the convenience of travelers. The introduction of these new routes will greatly benefit passengers from Delhi-NCR and surrounding areas, as they will no longer need to travel long distances to reach Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI).

Meanwhile, flights to Jammu and Chennai will also begin on March 22, with two daily flights to Bengaluru starting on the same day. Airport Authority Director Umesh Yadav announced that this will mark the first commercial flight departure from Hindon Airport. To ensure safety, security guards are being stationed, and robust security measures are being put in place at the airport.
