A nearly six-kilometer-long outer ring road near Raj Nagar Extension will soon be completed. For this, the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) will soon acquire land. To ease the movement of people in the area, there is also a plan to construct four new roads.
To resolve the traffic congestion issue on the main road of Raj Nagar Extension, the Ghaziabad Development Authority is working on the plan to build the outer ring road, which will connect the D Section near City Forest in Noor Nagar to the Northern Peripheral Road at Shahpur Niz Morata.
GDA VC Atul Vats, cited by Jagran.com, mentioned that the construction of about four kilometers of the road has been completed, but the land acquisition process for the remaining two kilometers is in its final stages. The road construction is expected to be completed within the next ten months.
Land is being acquired in Ator (11,903 square meters), Morata (8,645 square meters), Moti (23,510 square meters), and Shahpur Niz Morata (15,781 square meters). The expected expenditure for this project is around 65 crore rupees. He also mentioned that, in addition to the outer ring road, the GDA will build four new roads on the major roads of Raj Nagar Extension.
Plans for these are being prepared. A 24-meter-wide road will be constructed near Hum Tum Road and a 45-meter-wide road near Sikrod. One of these roads will connect Bhandha Road to Noor Nagar Village, while another will be linked behind the River Heights High-Rise Complex.
