During the month-long Traffic Month campaign held from 1 to 30 November, the Ghaziabad Traffic Police carried out an intensive enforcement and awareness drive across the district. 

According to DCP Traffic Trigun Bisen, the police issued over 2.3 lakh challans to violators and collected more than Rs 39 crore in penalties.

Strict action was taken against those riding without helmets, driving on the wrong side, and driving under the influence of alcohol. Alongside enforcement, the department also focused on educating citizens; around 1.4 lakh students across schools and colleges were sensitised about traffic rules and road safety.

In addition, the police organised free helmet distribution camps at multiple locations to encourage the use of safety gear and promote accident prevention.
