The excitement for the Resident Welfare Association (RWA) election at Gulmohar Enclave society on Rakesh Marg is building as the official date has been announced. The election for ten RWA members will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025.
District Leprosy Officer Dr Rajesh Tewatia has been appointed as the Election Officer, and the election process has already begun. On Friday, the initial electoral roll was published and displayed outside the RWA office.
Election Schedule And Key Dates
September 19: Objections to the electoral roll will be addressed, and the final list of voters will be published. Nomination papers will also be distributed on this day.
September 20: Deadline for filing nominations.
September 21: Last day for withdrawal of nominations, after which the final list of candidates will be issued.
September 28: Voting will take place from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
September 28: Vote counting will commence at 4:30 pm, and the results will be declared the same evening.
The Election Officer has clarified that only registered voters will be permitted to enter the polling station. Additionally, special arrangements will be made for elderly residents to cast their votes from home.
