Residents in Trans-Hindon continue to face daily problems with electricity and water, with issues persisting in one area or another. On Saturday, people once again had to grapple with power cuts and tripping, as well as water shortages.

In Karkardooma Model, water was supplied for only about 15 to 20 minutes in the morning, and at low pressure. The water that residents managed to store in tanks ran out by the afternoon, causing hardship for approximately 50,000 people. Local resident Mamta Devi said that sometimes the water is supplied at low pressure, and at other times it is dirty. She noted that despite numerous complaints to the Water Department, a permanent solution is not being implemented.

Water problems were also reported in Shalimar Garden Extension-2, where the supply was at low pressure. As a result, people living on the upper floors were unable to store water. Local resident Anil Jain said that they have to deal with water problems frequently.

The General Manager of the Water Department, KP Anand, stated that the supply was normal in most areas. He said there had been problems in a few isolated areas, which have been resolved, and the supply will now be normal.

Tripping And Cuts Caused Trouble

Electricity issues also plagued residents. The people of Krishna ViharKuti in Bhopura had to face a power cut of about four hours throughout the day. In Vaibhav Khand, Indirapuram, the electricity supply was also intermittent, with residents experiencing repeated tripping and cuts.
