A shocking discovery has alarmed residents of Pipiganj after the decapitated body of a 50-year-old woman was found in a roadside bush. Police have launched a murder investigation and are currently searching for the victim's missing head.
The victim has been identified as Kalavati Yadav, a 50-year-old widow from Bhuidharpur village. Her body was discovered around 6 am on by villagers who were out for a morning walk near Magruchauraha. They immediately alerted her family and the police.
A police unit, accompanied by a forensic team, quickly arrived at the scene. They have cordoned off the area to search for clues.
Kalavati lived with her two sons, Rajesh and Jitendra Yadav, who were also called to the scene. Police have begun preliminary questioning of the sons and other locals to piece together the events leading up to the murder.
SP North, Jitendra Kumar Srivastava, has stated that the police are investigating every possible angle and expressed confidence that the case will be solved soon.

Many villagers suspect she was murdered at another location and her body was simply dumped near the village to mislead investigators. Some locals reported hearing about suspicious activities in the area during the night, suggesting the body may have been left there in the dark. So far, however, the police have not found any concrete leads.
